Chapter 9
"Awakening"

I groggily woke up, and sat up. I looked around and saw I was in my palace. Ken was still asleep right beside me. I softly shook him and said, "Ken, Ken, wake up."
"Five more minutes Mom. I dont wanna go to school." He murmured in his sleep. I softly giggled, and shook him harder. He rolled over and slowly opened his eyes. "Hi Leets." He said, his voice still heavy with sleepiness. I giggled at the childhood nickname. I leaned down and kissed him briefly on the lips.
"Hi Ken." I said. "I had a dream last night, about when we were kids. When Queen Attalia tried to get the Jovian Crystal. It was kinda weird." I told him. He nodded his head.
"I remember that." He replied.
"Mom!!! Dad!!!" a small voice came from the hallway.
"Come on in Casey!" I called. Casey bounded through the door and bounced up onto the bed.
"I had a weird dream last night!" she said.
"Whatcha mean?" Ken asked.
"I had a dream that I went to help you and mommy in the past!" she replied. I smiled to myself.
"You know what Casey?" I asked.
"What Mommy?" she replied.
"I have a story to tell you, and this is true. It all started when your daddy and I were teenagers..." and I proceeded to tell her the story of how she helped us.
